The mighty Slawman family is supported by a cast of thousands (well, ok, just a few amazing pets, outdoor menagerie, and personable vehicles. This is their story:

Robin (she/her/badass)

Robin is the Slawman matriarch. When not busy working, she’s busy studying to be a midwife, working as a doula helping her clients labor and recover in postpartum, and occasionally, sleeping.

Kim (he/him/Batman)

Kim has never met a dad joke he didn’t like. His kids cannot say the same. Kim spends his days roasting coffee and his nights doing IT and design.

Furry & feathered friends

Dotty 🐶

Dotty is our lovable, if somewhat borked, potato of a family dog. She knows she’s actually another Slawman hooman though, and not a dog.

Holly 😹

Holly is a big ol’ unique chonker of a cat. She has ninja-like reflexes for killing bugs, balanced with the heart of a sloth. She likes belly rubs.

Ivy 😽

Ivy is Holly’s sister and not quite as chonky. She enjoys back scritches and is talented at acupressure. Jealously of other cats getting scritches is Ivy’s toxic trait.

Sandy 😻

SANDY IS AN ORANGE CAT. SANDY ONLY HAS ONE VOLUME LEVEL. SANDY IS USING HIS INDOOR VOICE. SANDY LIKES GOING OUTSIDE AND SITTING ON CARS. SANDY DOES NOT LIKE CHICKENS GETTING ALL UP IN HIS BUSINESS. MEOW!

Fun fact: Sandy is Steve Cartwright’s cat Tang’s son.

Beans 🙀

Beans is a magical being who came to live with us during a torrential storm. Beans does not like the outside. Beans is a mackerel tabby cat with ear tufts. Beans is also a snek.

Monty 😼

Monty is the newest member of the menagerie. Monty is a grey kitten that came from New York by way of Vermont (hence his name). Monty keeps all the other cats on their toes, also, he will attack your toes.

Fowl-weather friends

Chickens and ducks and turkeys are part of our brood too. Currently we have one lady turkey, two Pekin ducks, a rooster, and several hens.

Vehicles are people too

Bruce

Bruce (registration “BRUC3”) is mainly Kim’s car, though it’s also the de-facto family car, seeing as it’s the only one that can fit the whole family.

Bruce is excited to take the Slawman clan to Florida. Bruce likes long drives and vinyl stickers of flying toasters.

Pearl

Pearl (registration “YONI”) is Robin’s car, the midwife-mobile.
